Safespace is a scalable content and audience management platform built to address online harassment as a system-level challenge. Developed with Google Jigsaw and Cornell Tech, it pairs automated abuse detection with structured escalation and legal reporting workflows, enabling clear responses across social platforms.

Results

This end-to-end approach reduced emotional burden, minimized manual effort, and enabled informed, defensible action at scale. Our work at Cornell Tech informed Google’s broader research efforts in the online safety space, strengthening understanding of how platforms and individuals can respond to online harassment with greater clarity and control.
